Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one. ~Stella Adler

Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen. ~Leonardo da Vinci

We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public. ~Bryan White

Man - despite his artistic pretensions, his sophistication, and his many accomplishments - owes his existence to a six inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains. ~Author Unknown

Barbarism is needed every four or five hundred years to bring the world back to life. Otherwise it would die of civilization. ~Edmond and Jules de Goncourt, Journal, 3 September 1855

It must be admitted that there is a degree of instability which is inconsistent with civilization. But, on the whole, the great ages have been unstable ages. ~Alfred North Whitehead

The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision. ~Lynn Lavner

No government has the right to tell its citizens when or whom to love. The only queer people are those who don't love anybody. ~Rita Mae Brown, speech, 28 August 1982

He kindly stopped for me.
The Carriage held but just ourselves

To die proudly when it is no longer possible to live proudly. Death of one's own free choice, death at the proper time, with a clear head and with joyfulness, consummated in the midst of children and witnesses: so that an actual leave-taking is possible while he who is leaving is still there. ~Friedrich Nietzsche, Expeditions of an Untimely Man

Death is for many of us the gate of hell; but we are inside on the way out, not outside on the way in. ~George Bernard Shaw

Alright, apparently the true meaning of christmas is to be selfless and that's cool and everything but when people are selfless towards me I get creeped out. For instance, last thursday someone mailed me $50 in an unsigned card and then tonight a bunch of bags of presents showed up on my porch...what's really creepy is all the towels match the colors in my bathroom and the soaps and lotions are all lightly scented like someone has been in my house and knows what I use, kinda stalker vibelike...

Hey, I know you haven't been around anymore, but, I hope you're alright. If you happen to see this, message me or something, alright? Or email or... idk.
Ello? :< Ish you alives? :poke:
Hey sissy. It's been a while since we've talked. Are yuo alright? :( Message me sometime, I worry about you.
I'm not horrible, kind of hate this time of year and feel depressed but that's usual for me at christmas time. I'd check in and talk more but my new laptop doesn't run chat rooms without freezing. how have you been sissy, i miss you too
well it's just nice to be able to hear from you cause, like i said, i worry about ya when we go too long without talking.

I've been alright I guess. Senior year, grandma in and out of the hospital, various teenage drama... You know how it is
